The Art in Schools project saw five artists working in partnership with local primary schools across the Skye and Lochalsh area. I was commissioned by ATLAS Arts to undertake an art project with Auchtertyre Primary School to celebrate 30 years of the school, facilitate child-led learning and a place-focused approach from August through to October 2021. We were drawing, painting and printmaking together with a focus on exploring process, mark-making and experimenting with colour. Nature and the local landscape were a great source of inspiration for the art project.
